Issues when WI referencing WI in other project

I'm getting some errors when some of the work items that I try to migrate have references to work items in a project that I'm not planning to migrate.
How can I skip those references?

Additional info:
I've found out that this dosn't only affect WI with links to other projects. It also affects WI that have been created in another project at first and then moved to the project I try to migrate.

Could you specify the error that you are seeing? None of the issues that you presented above should result in errors and it should only result an INF as "[SKIP xxxxxx" as it cant create the links.

It cant create iterations for projects that don't exist. You need to map them to the target.

The instructions in the documentation show examples for blanket mappings. You should only need 1 per other project.

Thanks, that worked.
Since no WI actually belong to any of the Iterations/Areas that exist in the third project I guess it's fine to remove them again after the migration.

Correct, you can always just map them to the root of the new project and then you will not have anything to delete.
