do you expect the timer to continue? or pause while homebridge is restarting?
that is a nice suggestion... but it will require implementing storage and using the file system...
I'll think about the best way to implement it

Cool, I assume better option is to continue as restart by itself doesn't take much time. If it will be paused it make break some timings.
