License for custom plugin usage

I really like the nib editor but the requirement of license to extend editor functionality disappoints 😞

Advance features include:

Custom plugins

Please consider allowing to extend editor with new self-written plugins without the license.
Otherwise nib would not be popular among opensource fans.

Given the lack of activity, could these plugins be open-sourced? Perhaps we can find someone to maintain them for the community?

@jpuri You seem to be the primary contributor to this repo - can you please inform us of the status, and roadmap for the future (if any), or should it be marked as abandonware?
