I freshly imaged a PXIe Linux RT controller, installed the VeriStand Engine, then tried deploying a system definition with this custom device. I got error 1003 (0x3EB) saying the engine LLB contains a broken VI.
The root cause was forgetting to enable the third-party software feed and install the Ballard driver to the target.
Describe the solution you'd like
Ideally, we should throw an error that describes the cause and solution. Something like "System definition cannot deploy because Ballard driver is not installed on the target. Use MAX to install the Ballard driver from the third-party feed."
