Footnote support #283

In GitLab by @rotdrop on Feb 10, 2022, 01:09 This is for example supported in Gitlab MD: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/user/markdown.html#footnotes |

In GitLab by @rotdrop on Jul 27, 2022, 13:25 I just did a very crude proof-of-concept manual conversion of a few pages and then stumbled over missing features (no TOC, no footnotes, unable to link to directories). OTOH, I'm using the few converted pages in production (after adding the link-to-directories support) as it is comparatively easy to reformulate text s.t. footnotes are not needed. As far as I remember I used some DW -> MD conversion tool, but right now I do not quite remember which one.I'm on holiday right now, I'll be back by the mid of August.Best ClausVon meinem/meiner Galaxy gesendet ...-------- Ursprüngliche Nachricht --------Von: "duckdiver (@duckdiver)" [email protected] Datum: 27.07.22 08:53 (GMT+00:00) An: [email protected] Betreff: Re: Collectives | Feature: footnote support (#283) duckdiver @rotdrop Please how did you migrate docuwiki pages with their structure and subpages to nextcloud? — Reply to this email directly or view it on GitLab. Hi,
I'm currently trying to migrate a few DokuWiki pages to NC collectives. However, I am missing support for footnotes. Of course, this would also require corresponding changes in the text-editor, see nextcloud/text#2142
There already is a plugin for markdown-it
https://github.com/markdown-it/markdown-it-footnote
which supports the syntax described here
https://www.markdownguide.org/extended-syntax#footnotes
But then, footnotes are non-standard in MD. Still it would be nice.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
