Generation of Meetup Details

Currently it seems a daily rebuild is performed to generate static content related to meetup events; is the project open to this being resolved by client-side code?
This would remedy:

• increasing repo size
• Out of date information (build occurs, meetup update, user request to events)

From memory GH Pages had issue with fetching cross origin resources. Which is why content was fetched at build time and statically baked in.

I guess it wouldn't be too hard to fork the repo and create a toy example to demonstrate the approach right?

Definitely open to improvement, none of us are proud of how we janked the current solution but it works and costs $0 OpEx
