Will involve digging into mkdocs backend a bit.

Currently, there are several snippets of raw js in the jinja templates (e.g. licence server and module version info).

It can make reading the source html a bit messy, would be nice if we could stick with using the same tools native mkdocs / material uses to implement similar features.

Supposedly it is all done with native CSS + HTML? Impressive if true.
