Feature-request:

For third-party task-switcher applications, in this case tohkbd Alt-Tab functionality, it would make life much easier if the running apps (with covers on home-screen) would be available, as list of e.g. .desktop files, over dbus.

Or if this is already possible through some (preferably C++) way, please point me to a correct direction.

I think any thing such as an app switcher should be inside the lipstick process, maybe as a plugin.

That is ofc an option, builtin alt-tab would then work with any keyboard

I think such shortcuts should be in general done in Lipstick. Same applies to layout switching etc.
