Show a small button - probably a check mark in a box or such - on the DMG GUI that would pop up an up-to-date list of suggested cleanup tasks to do on the incident map, to make it more compliant with DMG and with good map practice in general.

The updated list should show specific feature names (and maybe locations, thumbnails, comments, etc). This would really be a list of actions that SITU (or other planner) should take. Some actions may involve prompting the searcher to take action, like finishing unfinished apptracks.

Types of things that should appear in the list:

  • set an assignment for clue features that have no assignment
  • finish unfinished apptracks (especially ones that have been dormant for a while) - consider that maybe the unfinished apptrack AND the line both exist - apparently an artifact of finishing the apptrack in poor cell service? In this case (already detected as 'ignored duplicates'), maybe there is no suggested action to take.
  • rename apptracks and lines that don't have the correct format, mainly if the name causes it to not be associated with an assignment
  • warn about broken sequence of track name suffixes: AA101b but no AA101a; AB102a,b,d but no AB102c; etc. The suggested cleanup task would be to see if a searcher track hasn't been acquired yet.
