Most antiviruses recognize mining software as malware / viruses.
This is because there are real malware software pieces out there that will silently mine using your hardware, so antiviruses will preemptively mark anything that has to do anything with mining as malicious.
If you download miner on purpose, you are safe to ignore this. From my expirience, there is no infections coming from this software.
There is the Trojan:Script/Conteban.A!ml in Claymore-Dual-Miner 15.0 Linux, recognized by the Windows Defender.
