Currently the threativore auto-mod developed by db0 for lemmy.dbzer0.com is controlled by direct messaging the bot from within Lemmy messaging as per the readme here. Same goes for lemmy-automod.

Problem: These automods currently rely on expert knowledge of regex to construct spam filters, so the current setup is not particularly user-friendly.

Not all mods or admins (myself included) are regex experts. It would be amazing to be able to use a regex builder or natural language alternative to develop and test regex based spam filters before deployment, to see what filters are currently active, etc, and also to retain/display mod actions & statistics so that effectiveness of filters and issues with false positives can be quickly identified.
