For listen to audio only there's the -a option, which temporarily disables the video. But I want to use this software to listen to music, primarily. So I have set show_video as false. I realized that there is no option to temporarily enable the video player. I tried with -w, but this only seems to externalize the player.

I am a very new user here and this project has a large trajectory, so this is probably just me missing something out that just ins't so obvious (if it already exists, maybe you should consider adding it to h tips.

Issue / Suggestion

I think that a -v option would be great to temporarily allow the video and show it in the external player.

Your Environment

I don't have the commands mpsyt nor mps-youtube. I installed yewtube from AUR since I'm using Arch Linux and I'm more used to upgrade my packages using pacman/yay than using pip or git. This said, yt --version outputted this:
