Sorry to jump it and if you have already tried that, but I had same issue after trying xcode 12.2, my issues was that I forgot to select the proper one again from command line:
sudo xcode-select --switch /Applications/Xcode12.1.app/Contents/Developer with the correct path to your xcode...
Just in case that helps
