The UI should ask for a nickname (prefilled with the auto-calculated one we are currently using by default) before joining a channel (but not for a group).

The same flow could be used to ask for a password for password protected mucs, too.

because in groupchats, all modern clients use the jid to determine the nickname (XEP-0172 etc.)
