On my Pixel 8A, molly v7.26-1-1-FOSS does not manage to read the QR code generated on console with mollysocket -c /opt/mollysocket/prod.toml qr-code airgapped. But with another app to read QR code, I can read it fine...

What's wrong?

Actually, QR code reading in molly is nice, but it should be possible to enter the URL manually.

I had the same problem yesterday. After I changed my terminal to black text on a white background, the QR code could be read.

I have updated the title

@git-78 let me know if this is not exactly your issue

I have a dirty workaround for this that works for terminals with dark backgrounds.

It should be possible in Rust to detect the background color of the terminal and then invert colors in a similar way... but I don't know if that's worthwhile.

Had this problem too. just spend 20 minutes to scan this code (default lineages os photo app scans fine btw) Would it be possible to enter the link manually? like so you can copy them from the photo app and insert it?

@pcrockett thanks for your workaround.. it worked well and saved me much trouble :D
