My name is Matthew Olivo and I am a 4th year Data Analytics major at Chapman University graduating in May 2022.
<hr color="black" />
I have extensive educational and professional knowledge in Python, SQL, Linux, Excel, and Unity.
My Junior year at Chapman in my Data Science course, I worked on a project analyzing historical fight data for the UFC and identified key predictors to determine which variables were most indicative of a fighter winning a particular fight.
This project strengthened my knowledge of statistical modeling, model cross-validation methods, and clustering algorithms.
I recently earned excellent marks in a Database Management course where I created a working data-base to catalog and query through entities with various attributes.
<hr color="black" />
When I am not working at my computer, I really enjoy indoor Rock climbing and have been on a couple of SCUBA diving trips. I am also on Chapmn's Esports team for Rocket League.
