In traditional alarm systems, while the exit delay period is counting down, one can open a door (say to exit the house) and close it before the exit delay countdown expires, and the alarm will not be triggered. But Konnected does not appear to work this way. If I open & close a zone during the exit delay countdown, the alarm is triggered as soon as the countdown finishes. Am I missing something here? What is the use of an exit delay period if I can't exit the house during this time window?
Furthermore, on traditional alarm systems, an exit delay time is set (# seconds) and can be enabled or disabled on a zone-by-zone basis. Thus I can have the main entry/exit doors support opening & closing during the exit delay countdown without triggering the alarm. And I can have other zones (ex. a water leak detector) which will immediately trigger the alarm, even during the exit delay countdown.
