Stopped working recently?

We use this in our app and it stopped working a few weeks ago. We made a simple app with just this, and still doesn't work.

Gets to the point where you can select a device and cast, but then just a blue Chromecast icon appears on the device.

Anyone seeing something similar?

Nope, but I'd be interested

• which OSs and versions are affected (maybe a recent update?) Also maybe provide your cordova + plugin versions?
• what do you mean by "a blue Chromecast icon appears on the device". Maybe a screenshot would be helpful?

I'm on Android 12 (LineageOS 19.1). Cordova 11.0.0 and the latest version of this plugin. I can't cast either, but I don't get that blue Chromecast icon.

have you two recently updated your builds to targetSdk >=31?

I am now noticing crashes on an Android 13 device, when I select the device to cast to; error keywords are IllegalArgumentException and PendingIntents. I've seen them very recently with another plugin, so this might be similar to this issue: ghenry22/cordova-plugin-music-controls2#81 (comment)

...and now I saw a

blue Chromecast icon

@tzarebczan mentioned, because somehow, my iOS build started (?) ignoring my branded Application ID and uses the "Default Media Receiver" (which has a blue icon, at least on my 3rd gen Chromecast).
Might be two separate issues.
