"Resource temporarily unavailable" message for local network shared directory mounted in WSL #11342

2.1.3

Are you using WSL 1 or WSL 2?

Distro Version

podman-machine-default

Other Software

Podman 5.0.0

Repro Steps

  • Set a shared directory on local network
  • Mount it inside WSL

Expected Behavior

  • Effective mount
  • Usable as volume mount point for Docker/Podman containers

Actual Behavior

  • Effective mount but with some warnings/errors Resource temporarily unavailable
  • Unusable as volume mount point for Docker/Podman containers due to failure at warning/error

Hello! Could you please provide more logs to help us better diagnose your issue?

To collect WSL logs, download and execute collect-wsl-logs.ps1 in an administrative powershell prompt:

Invoke-WebRequest -UseBasicParsing "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/microsoft/WSL/master/diagnostics/collect-wsl-logs.ps1" -OutFile collect-wsl-logs.ps1
Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force
.\collect-wsl-logs.ps1

The scipt will output the path of the log file once done.

Once completed please upload the output files to this Github issue.
