io_uring not working on wsl2

Hi,
I updated to the latest kernel (5.4.72-microsoft-standard-WSL2) and tried to work with io_uring but with no success.
Did anyone encounter this issue?

io_uring support is not enabled by default in the kernel, you will need to compile a custom kernel with io_uring enabled. You can enable it modifying this line.
