With recent changes in available models in Azure OpenAI by region, there have been certain versions of models that are being deprecated. The exact time for these deprecations can sneak up on you and the error above starts to happen. What we have found is that when you get this error, there is often a newer version of the same model (sometimes not the "default" version) that needs to be moved to. For example, in the screenshot above that was taken on August 23, 2023, the gpt-4 0314 version had just been retired and I had to choose the gpt-4 0613 version to achieve a successful deployment. |
