It is not that, unfortunatelly @polarathene . I tried and got the same error.

@AFMiziara you have no public repo, if you're getting that error there is another permission likely needed, try also including contents: read. I have no issue using the action.

Ultimately if you want to get any assistance, it's better to produce a minimal reproduction workflow and share that here so others can verify on their end, resolve it and share what the solution was.

I found the error in my case. It was a silly thing. I defined permissions at a global level in the workflow and them in the job there was another block configuring permission which were overriding it. Now it is working :)
