Removing the restriction on pandas version since the Panel fixes should make it no longer necessary. Various people have reported arctic working latest version of Pandas.

Yes it’s definitely on the todo list. What version would you consider to be new enough?

The restriction of on NumPy version should also be removed https://github.com/man-group/arctic/blob/master/setup.py#L83 |

Removing the restriction on pandas version since the Panel fixes should make it no longer necessary. Various people have reported arctic working latest version of Pandas. Without this fix, arctic forces the use of older versions of Pandas which can lead to conflicts with other libraries.
