Ice/Snow still not melt after first winter #185
Comments
are you sure it's not your shader? |
Same here. This is not a shader problem. Rivers are frozen the whole year, too. And the snow is as real as minecraft can make it. I did not alter any config files for this mod. |
What's your modlist? |
EinsZwanzigEins modrinth modpack |
@Knito58 Did you already traverse these chunks in the past when it was still winter perhaps (your snow picture)? Or are these newly generated chunks? In the river image, was the ice melting during this time? Was the location where you took the river image also traversed back in the past when it was still winter? Also, K3llerk1nd98's issue is most likely different as the stone in the image also has snow in the stone texture itself, which is something possible with Complementary Shader and nothing in their configs so far dictate that there should be an issue. |
These chunks are around my base. They are not new. I cannot tell which season it was when the snow chunk was visited before. Probably it was spring when I scouted around the base after starting the world. The frozen river did not show any sign of melting ice. I know what you mean, ice is melting on random ticks and eventually the river is ice free. Maybe this is an explanation: It is on a server. |
can you provide your server's seasons.json config? |
Hey,
got your newest version v2.3 - 1.19.
edited your config like you meantioned earlier, ice in river melt now, but snow on dirt/stone/leaves litterally everywhere still stay after winter is over..
