Describe the bug

After looking at a thread and opening the next one, the first message of the thread doesn't get updated sometimes.

Screen.Recording.2024-11-12.114220.mp4

Here you can see that the first message persist as the leading thread post instead of showing the newly opened one.

To Reproduce

I am not completely sure on how to reproduce this consistently but these are the steps I took:

  1. Go to the communication tab of a course
  2. Find Message with text and images
  3. Open replies
  4. Without closing the thread tab scroll down on the channel and open the next message's replies
  5. Sometimes the message on the right hand side doesn't get updated

Expected behavior

The Thread view should show the message corresponding to the thread

I also wanted to report this issue, it also happens on chrome and safari.
Wasn't the case before the latest version (7.7.0)
