One potential area of improvement is the visualization of learning paths both for students and instructors.
We currently use a graph-based interface for showing an instructor the relations between all competencies.
However, it is difficult for the user to derive all possible learning paths using this representation.
We furthermore do not yet depict the chosen learning paths of students in the course.
Visualizing how certain groups progress throughout the competencies could be an interesting insight for the instructor in the context of teaching analytics.
