Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Kubernetes egress is a feature which works in a way opposite to Kubernetes ingress. Usually it is used in conjuction with snat and security rules outside Kubernetes can convinjently use the known (src) VIP used by egress to filter traffic. There are other projects which do offer this support but usually egress with HA is not available in open-source offerings. Also, use of eBPF can allow for better approaches/alternatives.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be best to have an incluster solution with compatibility across various Kubernetes components.
