I've published an ALPHA release to the Play Store which includes the new layout.
Note that I've kept the internal name of the existing phonetic layout
unchanged, but updated its description in the language list to distinguish it.
Renaming would break compatibility for existing users. The new layout is
available with a "(standard)" suffix, let me know if a different name would be
clearer.
Can you try it and let me know if this works for you? Here's the process for
joining the ALPHA release track:

Alternatively, the new version is also on Google Drive:

(Google Code no longer appears to support uploading new files, hence the new
methods.)
The 4-row layout seems to be rather off - do you want to re-do that one? Adding
keys is a bit tricky since you need to adjust sizes so that everything fits,
and looks like the long-press numbers got shifted.
Hi Klaus,
Apologies for the first buggy rushed patch.
I got Android Studio running with the project and tweaked the 4-row layout
until it seemed OK.
Attached is a patch with all the corrected key sizes. It also contains an
explanation for the two layouts (ph/bds). I recommend, if possible, to follow
those conventions (BDS instread of ST), since most people know it that way. If
not, just add BDS to the description so users know what's up.

Biser
