Hello,

Could you please explain the upgrade path from 1.4 to later versions, assuming logstash version haven't changed?

I think there is no need to make any changes for 1.5, but for 1.6 one has to rename
net.logstash.log4j.JSONEventLayout to net.logstash.log4j.JSONEventLayoutV0.

Can you confirm and perhaps add a section in README.MD?
