Work upstream needs to be completed for this (logstash-plugins/logstash-mixin-aws#52) or this project needs to switch to using the sdk directly like other modules https://github.com/logstash-plugins/logstash-input-kinesis/blob/main/logstash-input-kinesis.gemspec#L24-L25
