Dave's Useful WiFi Tool(s)

Introduction

Goal is a web-based application like WiFi Explorer.
I started with a Qt application but switched to Web. Back end uses microhttpd and is written in plain C.

This is a workshop. There are a lot of half-finished/half-started projects here. I'm using this project to learn modern C++17 and front end web development.

Stuff

The Python dir contains a simple nl80211 module.

The pyroute2 dir is my additions + fixes for nl80211 in pyroute2

The full C++17 implemenation was too heavy for firmware, so backed up and made a C-only version that lives in libiw. Contains "scan-dump", a super useful cmdline utility to dump the scan results, one BSS per line.

The back-end for the web application is in httpserv and is written in C. Uses microhttpd
