Our section 4.3.1 currently talks about validation, linting, issuance, and more. It can be made much simpler, and should address just those topics raised by the BRs:

  • Having a member of a trusted role issue a direct command for all issuance from a Root CA
  • Linting certificates prior to issuance (optionally including info about using a dummy key, but that might be getting too specific)
