in 2008 - 2009 i experimented with ES40 and made some changes which resulted in improvements. Then gave up because under Linux the networking didn't work.
Now checking my source file set of the time i abandonned ES40, my first finding is a file mskxh.txt which describes an error and provides a correction for MSKWH, MSKLH, MSKQH emulation. The proposed correction did not make it into cpu_bwx.hpp of this project. I don't know if it is relevant though.
Sadly i don't know where i got if from; I attach the file: mskxh.txt
