I noticed that the electronics folder includes a BOM and schematics, but the Gerber files are not available. Are there plans to make these files available?

Also, will we be able to purchase the custom components like the reflectors and the infrared LED/camera array directly from Leap Motion?

Thank you!

as I understand, they intend to sell the electronics module for less than $100. For the reflectors, I am unsure they will be part of that package.

A got a quote from protolabs to mill them from PMMA (acrylic), and it's about €130 each. There's somebody on twitter from Japan that got them made that way, and then polished them nicely and added some semi-mirror film on them, and he's geeting a good reflection from some LCD screen. He took pictures from a camera inside a dummy head.

It would be nice to see these reflectors made at some kind of scale to get the cost down. Custom manufacturing for them is pricy if you don't have access to a CNC... :/

Also, important thing, the "led and camera array" is the "next generation hand tracking module". This they aren't open sourcing. They are open sourcing everything else.
