New feature - add points from table

Hello. I would like to add feature to your plugin. I would like it to be able to add points along lines from values from a CSV table. The CSV file would have IDs that would match IDs from the lines and the plugin would place the points on the lines based on a distance value in the CSV file. Would you be interested having this type of functionality in your plugin? I would help with the additional code.
