Enabling `rtlm` feature for `XITSMath-Regular.otf` with base mode freezes the engine #278

The following test file freezes the engine (the char used does not matter, U+222B is used to verify that the feature is applied):

\input luaotfload.sty
\font\xits={kpse:XITSMath-Regular.otf:+rtlm,mode=base}
\xits ^^^^222b
\bye

Neither node nor harf mode has this issue (I found this first when setting a math font, hence base mode).
