www.kiwix.org already has the Broken Link Checker plug-in installed.

I have configured the plug-in to send broken link reports to [email protected] from now on. A broken link scan will be performed every 72 hours.

Please keep in mind that:

  • There might be false positives form time to time. (There might be false negatives as well, but we have less information on these.)
  • A broken link might live on a page that is not yet or no longer online (i.e. in draft state), so no reason the worry in that case.

@martin8032 Thx martin. I will keep the ticket open and try to find a more generix solution which works for all our web sites.

Deploying a solution based on https://www.getsiteinspector.com/ seems to be the best approach to me for now. More solutions at https://medevel.com/os-broken-link-checkers-to-improve-your-seo/
