Search result order enhancement: appearence of the word

When doing a fulltext search for the word distro in en-wp-biggest ;) I had following ideas, maybe they are helpful for ordering the results:

• the beginning/first paragraph is more important (see https://download.kiwix.org/zim/README mini/nodet)
• less important from the end: External Links/Weblinks, References/Sources, See also

highest prio is the most important and at the beginning of the page, maybe searching that page can be stopped then.

It seems to me that the title isn't really used as a ordering help. The results are partly available via instant search suggestions when typing, but e.g. software distro isn't shown, when typing distro, maybe because of alphabetically order.

The title could either be used in the normal search with high priority or there could be a collapsed paragraph with results in the title or there could be a link to a search result page listing all pages containing the word in the title.

Beside the 3 first results, the results are pretty similar from what we provide (in the sens that both results sets are not so relevant)
What you propose is nice but it implies:

• A editorial choice. And I'm not sure that we want to do it. We are not content creator/curator. We do not select which content is better than the other
• A lot of editorial choices. And we don't have the capacity to so much editorial choice on all the different knowledge we package.

What we could do is put in front the Distro page as it is a page with a exact title (as it is made in wikipedia)
