Removing from VSCode, special scripts are needed to remove completly.

Nethog was needed to figure out who was downloading 10-15GB, after removing from VSCode on a metered net.

You owe me 20 bugs, as i need to extend my net unproportionately to survive the month.

If Microsoft hasn't any guidance for VSCode plugins, it's a problem with the system. (that uninstall script should have been in the VSCode plugin uninstaller)

Even a video stream for that timeframe (some hours) not able to consume that data.

Anyway, you can't run just updater like this, even on Linux, you have the guidance how to do, imagine if a user has 100 programs and needs to check/block internet separately from every updater.

Linus, allmighty, pls. tell them. Doing such a thing, you loose client trust, as i have no clue, whether it has been totally removed.

In a very secure system, VSCode can't be installed anymore, if it's revealed. VsCode can't be your playground!!!

Actually, it's well written officially, but a plugin shouldn't install permanent things out of VSCode. I don't think it's aligned with Microsoft open core model in any way.

I ended up reinstalling the whole linux, there is minimal programs installed, but i can't risk any program download GB of data without me not able to block.

Until i don't reinstall, don't even open my laptop.
