Job responsibilities
· You will solve technical problems in an ambiguous space with a huge customer/architecture impact
· Develop and have input into the design of the architecture used for both our user interface and backend services
· Develop across the full stack using React, CSS and JavaScript at the frontend with Java micro-services at the backend
· Develop with a range of database technologies including Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, and Elastic Search.
· Work with key stakeholders throughout Prime Video and beyond at Amazon.
· Hire and develop best engineers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· Non-internship professional software development experience
· Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
· Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Experience with frontend development utilizing React and TypeScript, or similar.
· Experience with cloud computing, large-scale and high-availability distributed architectures.
· Experience communicating with users and other technical teams to collect requirements, describe software product features and technical designs.
· Strong analytical and excellent problem solving skills.
· Strong written and verbal English communications skills
· An ideal candidate would have experience in developing financial or accounting software, but this is not essential.
