Working fine here and always has been. I'd be lost without it.

Every time I log into gmail it is gone. In order to bring it back I have to go into "Chat and Meet" settings, move the chat to the right side of the screen and save. If I bring the chat back to the left side the quick link stays until I shut down my browser. Then I have to do it again.

interesting! quick links disappeared for me again, but your steps to move the chat over and back fixed it. would be nice if a workaround wasn't required.

@cchopps - I can confirm that this workaround works. I've noticed the quick-links disappear a couple of days ago. I guess there's a new version of gmail rolling out for google workspace?

Would love a fix for this.

i've just accepted that quick links will be gone, unless i do the workaround, which is getting more annoying each time. i've resorted to a folder of gmail bookmarks in my browser toolbar.

I also would love a permanent fix!

For anyone else wondering, I found this workaround to work, but I had to go into "Quick Settings" (the gear on the right of the search bar in gmail in Chrome), then "READING PANE", then chose "Right of inbox". Voila, the Quick Links section then appeared on the left sidebar where I'd always seen it before.
Then you can set back to the "No split" option in the settings menu to revert the layout to original.
