New gmail release removes quick links #65
Comments
is quick links working for anyone these days? any workarounds? i miss this extension!!! |
Working fine here and always has been. I'd be lost without it. |
it's back working for me just today! woohoo! |
Every time I log into gmail it is gone. In order to bring it back I have to go into "Chat and Meet" settings, move the chat to the right side of the screen and save. If I bring the chat back to the left side the quick link stays until I shut down my browser. Then I have to do it again. |
interesting! quick links disappeared for me again, but your steps to move the chat over and back fixed it. would be nice if a workaround wasn't required. |

i've just accepted that quick links will be gone, unless i do the workaround, which is getting more annoying each time. i've resorted to a folder of gmail bookmarks in my browser toolbar. I also would love a permanent fix! |
For anyone else wondering, I found this workaround to work, but I had to go into "Quick Settings" (the gear on the right of the search bar in gmail in Chrome), then "READING PANE", then chose "Right of inbox". Voila, the |
Nice. That is easier! Thank you.

before.
Then you can set back to the "No split" option in the settings menu to
revert the layout to original.
