labels on mouseover appearing behind plots in slidy_presentation rmd document

I am using iplotCorr in a slidy_presentation in an rmd document.

On mouse-over the
labels that are supposed to appear in iplotCorr (and do when I create a standalone
plot) appear behind the plot, so you can't actually see them (but
I can see it is trying to produce them, and when you get to the edge
of the plot they peek out from behind)
