Add back the inclusion of captions?

When switching to htmlwidgets, I deleted the default captions that I'd previously had. I'm thinking maybe I should add those back, with a caption argument to each R function.

I probably wouldn't want to include them within RStudio or knitr, but it'd be nice to have them when the plot is a stand-alone html document.
