Everything looks like it is set up correctly, the chatGPT tab is to the right of 'info' when I have a paper open but when I highlight text and right click nothing comes up for gpt and nothing happens when I try to type something either.

I do not have the drop down menu. I have ensured my Secret Key is loaded correctly and pointing to the default URL. The ChatGPT window is there to the right but does not ask me anything like the screenshot in the readme. When I highlight and right click ChatGPT does not show as an option either.

I click explain/summarize/translate and nothing happens.

I have just found this project and tried to see if I could get it working.
There doesn't appear to be any right-click options, but I wasn't sure if this was perhaps OS-dependant or something.
After I added the API, I was able to copy and paste into the "ChatGPT" prompt field, then hit "explain" and "summarise" successfully (enough).
The "translate" button gives no options on what language to translate to, it just seemed to convert my text in the prompt box to Chinese randomly.
It doesn't seem like QA makes any sense unless it is able to parse over the entire document, but it doesn't seem to directly interact with the document at all.

I have created a fork of the ReadMe.md, which should help clarify installing and running it for the above purposes - but it seems like this is was released earlier than it was completely coded.

Very cool idea, I might work on it if I get time!

Same issue of not working. I installed and there is a tab, ChatGPT when I open an paper. Nothing happens when I click explain or summarize. I am fairly certain that we have to sign up for a paid account with openai to use the API and chatgpt with zotero (https://openai.com/pricing)

I am paying for OpenAI and it also does not work for me. So it probably has nothing to do with using ChatGPT for free or not.

Could some kind spirit respond please?

My Zotero (in MAC Venture 13.1) announced that ChatGPT is now operational, but I do not get a ChatGPT field next to Info; notes; tags; related.

Also weird, adding the XPI-file, colour scheme changed. Zotero painted all files black. Does this mean they´re now 'all active', therefore an individual file cannot be checked?

What should one write to the Base_Url box under the API key?

Same here... Zotero 6.0.37 / Mac OS 11.7.10
