Does the LDAP support work?

Good evening everyone,

I have been using the Subsonic installation from ‘subsonic.org’ for many years
However, it is known that the software has not received any updates since 2019.

The only reason why I have not used a fork so far is that the LDAP connection (in my case an Active Directory) did not work. In my old Subsonic installation, this works wonderfully, albeit not without errors (for example, it caches the users' passwords for a while, which I don't like).

Can someone who also uses LDAP tell me that it works now?
Would setting up LDAP still be as much of a hassle as in the original ‘Subsonic’ application?
