Problem

Currently there are quite a few messages in the dev tools console when starting a kernel:

These messages can add a bit of noise and some deployments might want to silent them.

Proposed Solution

  • Provide an option to disable the logs
  • Show the logs by default or not?

Additional context

Testing with:

  • jupyterlite-xeus-python 0.9.0
  • empack 3.0.0
