Roadmap: FS22

So, yeah, 22 is coming.

The assumptions we have made in regards to FS19 are here: https://github.com/jtsage/FS19_Mod_Checker/blob/main/ASSUMPTIONS.md

The main assumption I'm making right now, having seen nothing from 22 yet, is that the mod structure will remain mostly the same, with the descversion attribute being bumped. If that is true:

To-Do to support 22

• Remove the little bit of FS19 branding, make it just "Farming Simulator Mod Checker"
• Add a user preference to check either 19 or 22.
• Add a first-run dialog (no user prefs exist) to ask which version. We might be able guess this, there is a "revision" tag in gameSettings that might get bumped.
• Other items to be added as we learn more.

Updates:

gameSettings.xml revision did not get bumped.

Pushing a commit that adds user selection of version. It's early on, because it'd be nice to "guess" gameSettings.xml paths better based on version.

Splash screen is done, icon isn't.
