Very slow saves in Nova 5

It wasn't noticable until after the release of Nova 5, so not sure what changed in this version, but this Whitespace extension causes much longer file-save times. Disabling this extension restores the near-instant saves that were present in earlier version of Nova (with this extension active, too).

(Is the author monitoring these Github issues? There's been no responses to other issues over the past year.)

Hm. You're right; I've just tested this out; I guess that the many console messages were slowing down the saves.

Yeah my saves hang every time on this extension on Nova 10

@jeffbax: You don't need it any longer, just use .editorconfig — Nova fully supports it these days. This extension was just a 'temporary' kludge until Panic implemented full .editorconfig support.
