There are several tracking measures that should be incorporated into the pipeline as it stands. These should be designed to monitor the calibration process as it goes along. An initial list is as follows:

Essential

  • uv plots before and after calibration
  • tracking of calibration parameters in phase referencing self-calibration

Desirable

  • Plots of images in self-calibration
  • Webpage to summarise the plots and ms information
  • SNR of various calibration tables (those which are solved for)
