As a follow up to this discussion on Twitter...

@josefnpat Vapor still misses some...vapor. Why not include a smoke/steam shader ? In the background, or just the splashscreen...?

So I thought it would be cute, fancy and sexy to have a smoke/steam/vapor shader added to vapor. It could be shown only at startup (with the splashscreen), or permanently drawn in the background. Something nice, cheap and cute.

Well, as not all graphic cards are compatible with shaders, we can make it optional, and draw only if the environment allows it. Or alternatively provide a non-shader based animation, similar to the sexy-steamy .love demo (something less kinky, though).

Just a silly idea that I had. Let us debate on this.

That sexy steam demo was pretty cool. Something similar to that would be be perfect!
